When it comes right down to it, I'm a pretty lucky guy. I've got a beautiful, loving wife, and a fabulously spunky little girl. I live in a nice house, and have a job that doesn't completely suck.
To top it all off, I got to have at least one piece of birthday cake everyday for 12 days straight.
Yeah, it's a pretty charmed life I lead.

When the going gets tough, the tough get... larcenous?
The road is paved with good intentions.
Gee, my road must be pretty darned short when it comes to this blog. 2 measely posts and I flaked on it?!? Not a whole lot to pave with.
I guess I kind of counted on being able to post from work sometimes in order to keep this thing going. Well, shortly after I started the real world came a knockin, and the economy caught up with my job. Hours get cut, and a little tighter leash is put on "non-essential" internet use. Au revoir posting time.
Speaking of tough times and work, I get to work on Monday and notice the office feels kind of stuffy. We normally turn off the AC on the weekends, so it wasn't that surprising that is was a little warm. So we turn on the AC, but nothing happens. AC broken? Nope. AC is stolen. Yes, that's right. Someone actually stole the air conditioning unit from outside our building. Like the title says, when times get tough the tough get... larcenous?
